We are pleased to announce…

SAN DIMAS, CA – Green Kid Crafts, an award-winning subscription service that promotes science exploration and creativity for kids ages 3-10, has acquired Appleseed Lane, an educational products company that provides project-based learning experiences through monthly STEAM kits.

Appleseed Lane

Like Green Kid Crafts, Appleseed Lane was started by a mom who recognized an opportunity for positive change in student education. Beyond designing and delivering engaging, hands-on learning activities every month, they worked tirelessly to better their community through earth stewardship and social responsibility.

Green Kid Crafts

“Green Kid Crafts’ mission is to inspire future generations of creative leaders and save busy families time and money through our curated Discovery Boxes full of educational, hands-on, and eco-friendly activities,” said Penny Bauder, CEO and founder of Green Kid Crafts. “Appleseed Lane, an established leader in STEM products for kids, is a natural extension of our mission to provide activities for kids that are both fun and educational.”

Appleseed Land and Green Kid Crafts Empower Young Learners

“Appleseed Lane and Green Kid Crafts were both founded by mom entrepreneurs working tirelessly to improve education and our communities, and we share a similar mission of empowering young learners across the national through activity-based STEM learning and discovery,” said Cynthia Marbley, co-founder of Appleseed Lane. “Our common priorities, along with Green Kid Crafts’ transnational reach and keen focus on the environment and social responsibility, make this a wonderful match. We couldn’t think of a better fit for our company and customers.”

The Green Kid Crafts team will be working hand-in-hand with Appleseed Lane’s founders to ensure a seamless transition and the continuation of high-quality products and services to its newly acquired customers. “Expanding our STEM offerings is a significant area of focus for us. This acquisition will play a key part in helping us to innovate and grow our family-focused company,” stated Bauder.

Happy Exploring!
