Winter Science Project for Kids: Frozen Slime

Most kids we know are borderline obsessed with the movie, Frozen. In homage to this Disney movie we recently made homemade glitter frozen slime to play with. Homemade slime is a great boredom buster that keeps the kids entertain throughout the day.

Supplies: 2 Elmer’s glitter glue bottles (4oz), Water (from each empty glue bottle), 1 teaspoon borax, 1/2 cup warm water

Instructions:

Step 1. Pour the glue into a bowl. Fill the empty glue bottles with warm water, shake, and pour the watery glue into the bowl and mix with a spoon (or your hands!).

Step 2. In a small bowl mix 1/2 cup of warm water with 1 teaspoon of Borax until dissolved.

Step 3. Mix the Borax water and glue together for a few minutes until the slime forms together.
