Make your home a little more festive and spread the love by creating this lovely handmade Heart Wreath for Valentine’s Day.
Supplies: multi-colored card stock with fun patterns, paper trimmer, glue dots, and ribbon
Step one: Cut card stock into 2.5 inch strips. To make a this wreath, you will need to cut out 16 individual drips (8 hearts because you will need two different patterned strips for each heart).
Step two: Stick two coordinating card stock strips to each other with glue dots, back to back, so the patterned side is showing on either side.
Step three: Repeat step one with all of the strips of paper.
Step four: Fold the doubled strips in half and then curl them into a heart, sticking the two sides together with a glue dot.
Step five: Repeat step four to every strip.
Step six: Stick all the hearts together on the sides with glues dots.
Step seven: Attach a ribbon to the wreath and hang it wherever you want!
The finished wreath was lovely and something to be proud of. This is a great craft even for older kids, too.
