Knight’s Shield

What knight wouldn’t be proud to carry his own shield? This fun projects makes a great coat-of-arms, too!

Supplies: cardboard, cardstock, duct tape, toilet paper roll, markers or paint, aluminum foil, scissors and hot glue.

Step 1: Cut shield shape out of cardboard, then cover it with aluminum foil.

Step 2:  Cut overlapping pieces of cardstock and let child design their shield.

Step 3:  Hot glue the paper with design to the front of the shield.

Step 4:  Duct tape the toilet paper roll onto the back for a handle.

Step 5: Use your shield next time you fight a dragon or other ferocious enemy.
