Toddler Subscription Boxes

Toddler Subscription Box

Toddlers are the most impressionable people on this planet, learning like sponges and absorbing everything around them!

Early hands-on learning, with a focus on creativity and exploration has always been important, and during the pandemic research has shown there’s been a significant loss of learning opportunities for children in general.

Our toddler subscription boxes are designed by STEAM experts (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) to encourage growth of the “whole child”. And that means each of our kits and science and craft activities are designed specifically for learning at early ages.

What’s Special About Green Kid Crafts?

Found by a Mom With a Mission

Penny Bauder wanted to spend time on creative and meaningful activities with her kids – but so many crafts seemed so wasteful and time-consuming to organize.

Boxed & Kitted With Love in San Diego, California

Each Green Kid Crafts box contains 4-6 activities and are carefully kitted by hand by our warehouse team in Sunny San Diego

Sustainable by Design

Green Kid Crafts is a green and sustainable business, drawing from Penny’s experiences as an environmental scientist, pictured here researching in the Tongass National Forest in Alaska.

What box will my toddler get when we become subscribers?

Each month is a new theme, and our Junior subscription is designed for toddlers.

Past box themes for toddlers have included:
Transportation, Reptiles, Rainbow Science, Water Science, Color Science, Music Science

Kids and families love the excitement that monthly boxes brings and introduces new topics for hands-on at-home learning.

Can we try out a box before subscribing?

We offer 1-month subscription options, so you can try out Green Kid Crafts and just log into your account and cancel if you wish to not renew.  We also have a number of single boxes available in our shop if you would rather try just one, that’s always an option too.

What’s the difference between a 1-month subscription and a single box?  Our monthly boxes are made in bigger quantities, which mean they’re available at a consistently lower price ($29.95/box vs. $34.95/box).  In addition, our monthly boxes come with extras – our new Kitchen Table STEAM program is where our team curates and compiles a number of extra learning opportunities for monthly subscribers.  So for example, when the box theme was Ocean Science, our subscribers not only received their box, but also got to ask questions to an Oceanographer LIVE and got access to many additional videos, podcast episodes, and DIY at home activities to keep learning.  Join today and see for yourself, we can’t wait to have you in our Green Kid Community!

Are the boxes more art or science?

Good question, and the answer is: both!

Since our boxes have 4-6 activities each, and a 12-page magazine, and Kitchen Table STEAM extras, we are sure there will be something for every child in each theme.

Often the activities are designed to be exploratory.  You might do it quickly with a younger toddler, and take more time and have more conversation with an older pre-schooler. The magazine is a 12-page guide that includes step by step instructions with pictures, and all the extra information you might want. Often it will contain open ended questions, and additional resources.

Can I gift a toddler box?

Of course!

Of course!  You can gift a subscription by simply entering the recipient’s shipping address on checkout.  The subscription will be in your name, and you can always contact us if you don’t wish to renew.

Also popular as gifts is our Ultimate 5-pack STEAM Junior gift!  This is 5 boxes designed for Juniors delivered all at once.
