Venture across the globe to China by creating a Chinese Dragon!
Supplies: egg carton, googly eyes, pom poms, paint, ribbon, red felt or construction paper, glue gun
Step 1: cut apart the egg carton for the dragons body.
Step 2: paint the inside of one of egg pieces for the mouth. Paint it black.
Step 3: paint the top and sides of the body pieces for dragon yellow. Our egg carton was already yellow but we still painted it. Kids love to paint!
Step 4: trace and cut out a dragon-like tongue
Step 5: hot glue the tongue inside the black mouth. Also glue the googly eyes to the two Pom poms and glue the Pom Pom eyes to top of dragon head. Please use parental supervision with the glue gun.
Step 6: use bingo paint or hand paint circles on the body.
Step 8: make holes in dragon body and thread rubbing through it. We added bells to his end for extra fun.
