I purchased 2 of these for my daughter & I and my girlfriend and her son to do together on a rainy day. The kids are 3 and 4 years old and they thought this was very cool!!

I ordered this for a homeschool project because my boys were interested in gemstones, crystals and rocks. We had a blast excavating and now the boys carry the gems around in their pockets. I’d recommend this over TV any day of the week. It’s fun and a great learning tool.

Even though this will only last a few hours, my daughter was really excited about finding the rocks in this kit. It is a little messy so just be aware of this. I tried another kit and the rocks were really small, this one was much better.

My kids absolutely love doing these type of crafts. They all enjoyed picking away at this one and got some pretty rocks. We’d do it again!

Another amazing gift for a 6 year old boy who loves to dig. Our son sat down & did the entire block before he would get up. Total dusty mess, but worth it! The splatter art kit was a wonderful and unexpected bonus.

My grandchildren loved this kit! We spend a lot of time outdoors looking for “gems” and this was a perfect Christmas gift for them to “hunt” and learn more about geology!
