Craft for Kids: Button Flower Garden
Have any mismatched buttons around the house? Create a GKC button flower garden!
Supplies: Buttons, construction paper, kid scissors, glue, markers, and Popsicle sticks.
Step 1: Cut the top of green paper to look like grass.
Step 2: Glue the green paper to the bottom of a large white paper. Then take blue paper and glue it on top of white paper. Now you have grass and sky!
Step 3: Glue buttons on the paper for the center of the sun and the center of the flowers – or anything else you want in your garden. Also, take markers and draw the stems of the flowers.
Step 4: Start using markers to make the outside of the flowers, rays of sun, etc.
Step 5: Either buy or make your kids eat a lot of Popsicles – we opted for eating – and start making a fence for the button flower garden.
