“Frozen” Themed Slime – Winter Science Project for Kids
If your kiddos love the movie Frozen (and in honor of the new trailer for Frozen 2,) they will have a ball making this slimy silly putty!
Supplies
>1 clear glue bottle (Elmer’s 147 ml works best)
>Water (it will be filled in the glue bottle once the glue is dumped out) and ½ cup hot water
> ½ teaspoon Borax powder
> A few drops of both silver and blue glitter
> A few drops of blue food coloring dye
Instructions
Pour your glue into a bowl.
Once dumped, fill glue bottle with water and add into the bowl.
Stir well.
Add few drops of blue food coloring dye (maybe not too many if you would like a lighter blue color).
Stir well.
Add in silver and blue glitter.
Stir well.
Separately, have ½ tsp of Borax powder. You will want to dissolve this into ½ cup hot water.
Once the Borax has dissolved in the hot water, add the hot water to your bowl and stir well.
Look what begins to happen!
Slime! We added a lot of blue food coloring to get that deep, royal blue color.
Look at that color! Such neat texture for playing .We suggest making it a lighter blue color so one doesn’t have bright blue hands! Perfect activity for some slime day fun.
