Homemade Magnifying Glass
Make this DIY magnifying glass with a curved piece of plastic from a soda bottle and a little water. Nothing’s better than using your own magnifying glass to find clues and solve mysteries!
Supplies: A two-liter soda bottle, scissors, and a permanent marker.
Step1: Draw a circle on the curved part of the bottle.
Step 2: Cut out the circle.
Step 3: Pour a little water into the plastic and hover it over a book or letter. The water plus the curved shape of the plastic make the words bigger. Just be careful not to spill the water onto the book!
