As I’m preparing a post for tomorrow’s Mother Nature Monday theme with the hurricane storm center updates on in the background, it’s hard to think about much beyond the sheer awesomeness of nature… its strength… its unmercifulness. And, its ability to rebuild.
Remembering last year’s Hurricane Irene, I’m also struck by our collective will to rebuild, and the beauty of people being able to come together to help keep each other safe.
So, nothing personal to Mother Nature, but this Monday I’m going to celebrate the strength, resilience and camaraderie of the human spirit as the East Coast prepares for Hurricane Sandy. Stay safe.
