Aluminum foil transforms paper plates into a wild and wacky spaceship!
Supplies: Two paper plates, peach, orange, green, light blue and black paint, silver glitter, orange and green pipe cleaners, aluminum foil, marker, scissors, and paint brushes.
Step 1: Paint the inside of one paper plate black.
Step 2: Cut center out of other paper plate.
Step 3: Cut two circles and one oval out of the center piece of paper plate.
Step 4: Paint the oval green for alien head; paint one circle orange or peach for planet; paint other circle blue for additional planet.
Step 5: Add glitter to the black part of paper plate. You can use glitter glue or regular glue painted on and sprinkled with glitter.
Step 6: Cut and use orange pipe cleaner around the orange planet as the ring.
Step 7: Glue alien head into space ship and use same green painting to paint body. Cut and use green pipe cleaner for arm and antenna on the alien. Add a face to alien.
Step 8: Glue the planets into space ship.
Step 9: Wrap ring piece from plate with aluminum foil and staple to the decorated plate.
