Upcycle your Socks: Make your own Socktopus!

By March 2, 2013September 2nd, 2018One Comment

Have mismatched socks laying around the house?  Transform them into your own fun Socktopus pets!  Create a whole family using kid and adult sized socks.

What you’ll need:

  • Socks
  • Plastic Bags
  • Rubberband or Thread/Needle
  • Scissors

Stuff plastic bags into the foot part of the sock, then either sew it shut or use a rubber band .  Cut the rest of the sock into strips for the tentacles.  Glue felt onto the head for eyes.

If you create a Socktopus share your photos on our Facebook page, we’d love to see your creations!
