Bean Sprouting Activity for Kids
Have fun sprouting your own beans and learn about botany at the same time!
Step 1: Put the dry beans in a damp paper towel and put it all inside the jar.
Step 2: My kids didn’t believe me that beans would sprout into plants. So here we are checking their bean sprouting activity after three days.
Step 3: One week later we had fully sprouted beans! After we examined them for awhile, I had my preschool kids take some dry beans and glue into a paper with their sight words written on it. They had fun and it was great for fine motor skills.
