frozen dinosaur eggs craft for kids

Dinosaur Eggs Experiment

These easy-to-make frozen dinosaur eggs are simple to set up and provide hours of play! They are great to use for ice melt science and sensory play.

Supplies:

balloons, eyedropper, mini dinosaurs, and water.

Step 1:  Blow up each balloon and hold it for 30 seconds to stretch it out

Step 2:  Put a dinosaur into each balloon and fill it with water.  Tie off the balloon and put them in the freezer.

Step 3:  Pull out the frozen balloons and put them in a container. Using the eyedropper, squirt warm water over the “eggs” to melt them. You can also add a little bit of warm water to the bottom of the container. Break the balloon and pop out the frozen egg! Keep on trying to melt the egg to free your baby dinosaur.  This brought hours of fun to our kids!
