Homemade Valentines: Recycled Crayon Heart
Give these to your sweethearts on Valentine’s Day! They make such unique and sweet homemade cards.

Supplies: crayons, glue, cardstock, silicone heart mold, and markers
Step one: Take the paper off the crayons. This took awhile!
Step two: Let the adult cut the crayons into pieces on a cutting board.
Step three: Make your own heart-shaped crayons using our favorite recipe here:
Step four: Help your child cut out heart shapes form card stock. We folded the paper in half to make the perfect shaped heart and it was easier for my daughter to cut out.
Step five: Glue the hearts together. Then I lightly wrote in pencil “Happy Valentine’s Day for “crayon” out loud!”; after that my daughter was able to trace it with a marker!
Step six: Give to your sweethearts on Valentine’s Day! Such a unique and sweet homemade card!
