DIY Patriotic Windsocks
Kids will have so much fun making these colorful windsocks for the Fourth of July. This decoration looks wonderful in any window or on your front porch and is a fun, simple, Fourth of July craft.
Supplies:
Two empty cans
Scissors
Red and white streamers (or ribbon)
Glue
Star stickers
Twine
Blue construction paper
Hammer
Screwdriver
Step 1:Â After taking labels off the cans, cut blue construction paper to fit around them.
Step 2: Â Glue the construction paper around the cans. We used a hot glue gun but you can use any type of glue.
Step 3: Once both cans are covered, add stickers!
Step 4: Â Cut streamers and glue them to the inside of the can, alternating red and white.
Step 5: Â Use a hammer and screwdriver to pound two holes on top of each can.
Step 6: Tie the twine through holes to connect cans together.
